I agreed to be the new Prayer Coordinator for Reckless 4 Christ United, and it got me thinking...
My prayer life is definitely not where it should be (I'll be the first to admit that), which is a big reason why I agreed to take the position. My hope is that through this, I can improve my prayer life, and to motivate those around me to be in constant prayer.
Prayer is somewhat of a tough subject. Not everyone prays the same.
However, I firmly believe that God soaks up everything His children say to Him and strongly desires us to speak to Him. He loves to hear from all of us!
Prayer is truly a gift. It is the #1 way to communicate with God, and I find it to be the best stress reliever around.
I'm truly excited to get going with this new position I have in life. I can't wait to see what God has in store for not only me, but for the campuses of Longwood and Hampden Sydney as well! I know He has AWESOME plans for the future!

That's how you know you are doing what God wants, when you can say "I'm failing, and I know it." And seek change for what you can't do by yourself.
Just from your first post you are a big encouragement and I am proud of you as your brother and friend. You will do a great job because you are learning to lean on Christ.
